My fingers were folding starsnegative star

from black paper strips.

I threw them into

the bright corners

of my restless head,

letting darkness flood my mind.

To contain the flames of fury

and make them burn brighter

in the tiny dark clouds

circling my head.

unknown sender – Sunday, 3:23:

“Batman is dead.”

I don’t need virtual superheroes

but real rainbow warriors

who can fly among the many

with faceted eyes

their wings woven nets

transcending all colour

As my familiar was exploring

the lines on my palm

he whispered:

take what you need

and leave the rest

for the others.

So I collected a piece of fabric

that got caught

from its wings

with my left hand.
