#101 (traces of salt)

a stained yellow cloth

lying abandoned in a corner

we used it to wipe the seawater

from the portholes

the traces of salt

on unbreakable glass

white lines and spirals

crystallizing at the edges

sometimes I wonder

if it was my tears or the sea

and your absence makes it clear

that there’s no use in

wondering for me
