#107(twisted fables)

numbness crept from ears to spine

while listening to your fancy rhymes

safety, guaranteed, riskfree

had fallen off the promise-tree

I shuddered facing North-North-West

wild gusts kept reddening my nose

snow flowers laid the world to rest

that night a paler moon arose

counted to three and turned to stone

my dreams galloping through the night

in empty skulls six candles shone

invigorating kiss of light

your droning kept me wide awake

as focus withered from my mind

I felt my patience slowly break

your twisted fables left me blind
