Wishes, blown across the sky, sprouting wings,
taking flight like dandelion seeds.
I soften the shell of my heart
letting in the light and all those silky shadows
the curtains torn, the Spring sun melting away
the faint memory of Winter so it can retreat
and grow spikes in the heart of Summer.
Basking in the sweet scents of early bloomers
I find my love sneezing in an armchair
with curtains drawn, writing wishes
in the dark.
