#313 (interior dance)

You keep building

landscapes on our furniture

of porcelain and silverware

I keep building

towers and walls made of books

and magazines, spinning poetry

like spider silk around the edges

so nobody gets hurt in

this interior dance

until I find your mouth

mine tasting like banana bread

and sunlight

yours like peppermint

and red currant
