#380 (desert symphony)

Spent adrenaline

ash and copper on

his tongue. Strained

legs and arms, cramping

in the sudden cold.

Sirocco reclaiming

the night like a rejected

lover, hard pushes shaking

the dunes as his breath keeps

smoking out across the

golden sea. Mirages appearing

and fading away, his heartbeat

failing, trance induced by

exhaustion. Black spots dancing

madly, his body dropping

like a stone. Silence

writes the symphony

of the desert.
