#405 (Brigid’s breath)

Soothing smile, she is

spinning the sympathy

spell, slowly surrounding

herself with serenity, calling

cicadas and robins, the wind

from all the corners of the world

to gather and spread the tiniest

slivers of light, star seeds

drifting in the breeze of

compassion, finding weary

foreheads, kissing third eyes,

wrapped in agony.  Breaking

the curse of negative attraction,

she wanders, wispy cloaks in

her wake. Just a few more hearts

that need to bud and blossom

carefully blowing away the soot of

earlier burns, her eyes are light

eternal, her feet drenched in

willow waters, wading through

the marshes, a last gaze as

her touch leaves an imprint

of pure pleasure

on my tongue.
